About Foothills Recovery

Foothills Recovery is a residential addiction treatment center located in Albany, Kentucky, in the heart of the Cumberland foothills. We started this work because our community needed a place where people could come home to themselves again, close to family, close to the mountains, and close to the kind of support that only comes from people who understand this region and its struggles firsthand.

We’re not a big corporate facility. We’re a team of counselors, clinicians, and staff who believe recovery works best when it happens in a place that feels like home instead of a hospital. Many of us have walked alongside someone through addiction, whether professionally or personally, and that shows up in how we treat every resident who walks through our doors: with respect, patience, and zero judgment.

What sets us apart is simple. We keep our programs small enough that no one becomes a number, we build treatment around the individual instead of a one-size-fits-all script, and we stick with our residents past discharge day because recovery doesn’t end when treatment does.
